Women who desire larger breasts may wish to have a breast enlargement (augmentation) procedure. Breast enlargement surgery may also be indicated for women who have one breast that is noticeably smaller than the other. Breast enlargement is intended to give the patient larger and more shapely breasts. A more positive self image may also be a result of breast enlargement.
The Surgeon Consult: At your consultation visit you will meet with one of our Board Certified Plastic Surgeons and our team of dedicated patient care professionals. The surgeon will go over all aspects of the surgery including: implant size, different types of implants, the pro's and con's of implant placement, and anesthesia. The surgeon will do a brief physical exam and give you his best recommendation about the procedure. Each of our surgeons strives to be very thorough in the information they give and to answer all of your questions.
Our Nursing Staff and Patient Care Coordinator: You will also meet with the surgeon’s Nurse and our Patient Care Coordinator who will give you a written fee estimate for the procedure(s) you are considering and go over payment and financing options. Our Patient Care Coordinator is an excellent resource for any questions you may have and will be there for you every step of the way.
You’ll feel at Home: You'll also be able to see why Plastic Surgery Services is such a special place, from the welcoming surgeons and staff to the comfortable surroundings. We genuinely care about each of our patients and include you as one of our family. You'll find that many of our staff members have had breast augmentation surgery, or other procedures you may be considering, and are happy to share their experiences with you. We will also show you before and after photos of patients who have had breast augmentation with our surgeons.
The Sizing Appointment: Your second consultation or pre-operative appointment also includes a sizing appointment. This allows you to try on a "look" and get a better idea of what the "new you" might look like after breast augmentation surgery. We feel that "sizing" gives you an opportunity to visualize yourself after surgery and also backsideists in the communication process between you and your surgeon. You'll love it!
